Since the school creation we had been struggling to understand how to register our school at Province level and what was required for the Cambodian Education Ministry. We finally met in Kompong Cham a state employee, Mr Kok Sichoeun, deputy director of non-formal education, very helpful and fortunately speaking good English.

We are now reassured, he confirmed we can act as a non formal school free of charge and without any religious goal. This validation was very important as the government decided to check legality of all NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) in Cambodia.
